Arabia Offscreen Team Selected
The Arabia Offscreen Team has been selected! The winning team of ten young people will travel to Saudi Arabia in December 2011 to create an artistic portrait of the Kingdom to be shared with youth audiences from around the world.
The diverse and talented young artists, photographers and filmmakers are aged between 18-24 and were selected from the UK, UAE, Qatar, Egypt and Malaysia. They will join a global expedition to explore the life and culture of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. To stay updated visit: www.arabiaoffscreen.com

Adobe Youth Voices
ADOBE YOUTH VOICES is hosting ANOTHER exhibition of project work, this time in Shoreditch at the Factory Gallery on Wednesday 27th April, 6 -8pm.
Featured will be six schools' worth of photography projects. Refreshments will be served and all are welcome.

Offscreen Expedition's Journey to Pakistan education resources are now online! The resources have been developed to link in with the UK National Curriculum and include lesson plans, multimedia assets, and teacher guidance, and are available to download free from the Expeditions website.

Crossway Foundation
The Crossway Foundation represents Offscreen's vision to create the UK’s first dedicated UK-Middle East arts and education centre in East London.
Working with the Prince's Regeneration Trust and a group of like-minded social entrepreneurs, artists and teachers, the Foundation's vision is to create both a physical headquarters for the expansion of existing activities and a separate charitable home for the delivery of new, collaborative initiatives.

The Future of a Promise from 2 June- 20 November
The Future of a Promise will be the largest Pan-Arab show of contemporary art at the 54th International Art Exhibition – la Biennale di Venezia. From Tunisia all the way to Saudi Arabia, this landmark exhibition brings together more than twenty-five recent works and commissions by some of the foremost artists from the Arab world.
The exhibition is being curated by Lina Lazaar, produced by Edge of Arabia and supported by Abdul Latif Jameel Community Initiatives and Abraaj Capital. The Future of a Promise will be in Venice from 2 June- 20 November 2011.

Classroom Media Player
Over the past three years Offscreen have collaborated with Digital Explorer and One Darnley Road to develop an inivative educational resource called the Classroom Media Player.
The Media Player allows teachers to design lessons based on films, photos from our projects. Our first Media Player was produced last year with the support of HSBC, the Said Foundation and the British Council and is currently being used in classrooms in UAE, Oman, Bahrain and Lebanon.

Offscreen Films
In July 2011 the ten winners of Create and Inspire embarked on the trip of a lifetime to the UK. In London, the team partnered with landmark creative industries such as Tate Modern, the British Museum, Penguin Books and Squint Opera.
Audiences across the UK and Saudi Arabia followed the team live online through the Offscreen Expedition website.
