Workshops

Offscreen’s programme of practical workshops is at the heart of its activity. Through a wide-ranging selection of classes, taught by visiting artists and teachers from the around the World, young people can have direct contact with different cultures, gain practical skills and learn new knowledge.

We are especially keen to teach the younger generation creative skills that can be applied within society; accordingly a number of traditional arts workshops are at the heart of our offer.  Offscreen’s Workshop Programme is build on the successful models developed by artists, Adam Williamson and Stephen Stapleton over the past ten years.

To date Offscreen have run workshops in over 150 schools in the UK and Middle East as well as at the British Museum, Victoria & Albert Museum, City Hall, British Film Institute, St Paul's Cathedral, Imperial War Museum, Venice Biennale, Global Competativeness Forum (Riyadh), Art Dubai, Dubai Cultural Council, British Council Oman/Bahrain/Lebanon/UAE ...
