Project Gallery

As part of the British Museum's Middle Eastern artists-in-schools programme, British-Iranian artist, Maria Kheirkhah, worked alongside art teachers Rosanjeet Khalsa and Steve Hook with a group of Gifted and Talented students on a project exploring maps and the Middle East. Using the British Museum collections as a focus, students researched and explored how and why the Middle East has been mapped. The final group outcome was a stunning large scale map surrounded by flags and text.
