British Museum Artists-in-Schools

Plashet School

As part of Phase 2 of the British Museum's Artists-in-Schools project, Iranian artist Khosrow Hassanzadeh and Jordanian-British printmaker, Rima Farah worked with a group of Year 9 girls for 6 sessions over three weeks. Initially inspired by Khosrow’s large scale Terrorist series of screen-printed family portrait paintings, students designed and made large banners decorated with calligraphy, inspired by their visit to Word into Art, and images inspired by their own family backgrounds.
